It’s the start of a new year…and also a NEW DECADE! 2020 will sure to bring new ideas, new products and new trends for the foodservice industry! One trend that will continue however will be desire by consumers to consume products that have more Clean Label Ingredients options. Check out the recent article in Milling and Baking News (Dec 17, 2019). In the article, several reports are noted that clearly indicate the continued growing importance of consumers wanting more clean label ingredients in their food products. In fact, almost 65% of total shoppers, said they were extremely interested or very interested in eating “Clean”.
At Burry Foods, we recognize the importance of using Clean Label Ingredients to produce our bakery products! In 2019, the Burry Bagels, English Muffins, Croutons and Bulk Cake Muffins were reformulated. These products changed to natural ingredients and we removed the artificial flavorings, colors and additives! Going forward in 2020, we will continue our efforts to go “Clean” with our other bakery products. It’s all part of our company’s overall goal to meet the needs of our customers and offer bakery products that offer healthier options. At Burry Foods, we believe our products are “Better for You”!
